Easy recipe: Chocolate & Pecan Brownies with Salted Caramel Ice Cream

For the ultimate dessert treat, why not whip up these divine chocolate and pecan brownies?

Dark chocolate and pecan nuts are combined to make irresistible sweet and crunchy brownies. These sweet slices of heaven are then served with indulgent salted caramel ice-cream for the perfect pudding. Dig in!

1 Grease a square cake tin with butter and line the bottom with greaseproof paper.

2 Melt the butter and chocolate together in a bain marie.

3 Remove from the heat and leave to cool a little, then add the sugar, flour and eggs one by one, stirring continuously. Add the pecan nuts and stir once more.

4 Pour the brownie mixture into the prepared cake tin and bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes. Leave to cool before cutting into squares.

5 Serve warm or cold with the salted caramel ice cream.
