Dark chocolate and pecan nuts are combined to make irresistible sweet and crunchy brownies. These sweet slices of heaven are then served with indulgent salted caramel ice-cream for the perfect pudding. Dig in!
- 300g dark chocolate
- 250g butter
- 350g sugar
- 200g flour
- 5 eggs
- 250g pecan nuts
- Kelly’s Salted Caramel ice cream to serve
Method1 Grease a square cake tin with butter and line the bottom with greaseproof paper.
2 Melt the butter and chocolate together in a bain marie.
3 Remove from the heat and leave to cool a little, then add the sugar, flour and eggs one by one, stirring continuously. Add the pecan nuts and stir once more.
4 Pour the brownie mixture into the prepared cake tin and bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes. Leave to cool before cutting into squares.
5 Serve warm or cold with the salted caramel ice cream.
