How good does this ghoulish treat look? It's easy to make and is perfect for impressing the kids this Halloween.

It combines cream cheese and treacle – a food duo that is known in America as "Thunder and Lightening". For a healthy crunch just sprinkles over some pumpkin seeds that are great for boosting the immune system. Decorate with cucumber "eyes" and carrot "eyebrows" for a scary snack.

  • A tub of low-fat cream cheese
  • 3 tablespoons treacle
  • 3 tablespoons pumpkin seeds

1 Spread with a generous layer of low-fat cream cheese on each slice of bread. Spread a thin layer of treacle on top. Sprinkle on the pumpkin seeds, and top with the remaining slices of bread.
