That's why all this week, we are running tummy-friendly recipes given to us by the organisers of Gut Week. So, if you're a sufferer, this tasty smoothie recipe is a great way of getting energy first thing in the morning.
It uses banana, orange and pineapple, and as long as the fruit isn't over ripe, this tropical treat should be fine for your tummy. You can even bulk it out with lactose-free yoghurt to keep you fuller for longer.
- 160g pineapple
- 1 medium banana
- 1 orange, juiced
- 200ml cool water
Method1 Place the pineapple, banana and orange in a liquidiser and process for 30 seconds.
2 Dilute with water and give the drink a final whizz.
3 Pour into two glasses and enjoy this nutritious smoothie.
