Fancy making your own? Follow these simple steps from the chocolate experts at Godiva to making your own chocolate-dipped strawberries – a great sweet treat to wow your guests at summer parties.
- 70 + % cocoa chocolate (Godiva has a 72% chocolate bar which is perfect for this recipe)
- Fresh strawberries
- Grated chocolate, crushed nuts or coconut shavings
Method1 Break up the chocolate bar in a bowl over hot boiling water
2 When thoroughly melted, carefully dip the strawberry, making sure 50% of it gets covered.
3 Wipe off any excess dripping chocolate and either dip again, in one of the toppings of choice or place straight onto a baking sheet .
4 Pop into the fridge for 5 mins. to let the chocolate harden.
5 Serve to your guests.
