Super speedy summer recipe for authentic Greek Tzatkziki

We love tzatkziki – originating from Greece, this cucumber and yoghurt dip is perfect for the warm summer months.

It's so versatile too, serve at a barbecue with lamb, at a picnic with carrot sticks or just with some crisps when you're craving a snack. If that's not enough, if it's super speedy to make, just follow these simple steps from our friends at Danone.

  • 1 pot Plain Danio Yoghurt
  • ½ cucumber
  • 1-2 tablespoons shredded mint
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 crushed garlic clove
  • • Season to taste


1 Finely grate the cucumber and then squeeze it well to drain any excess water.

2 Add the shredded mint, crushed garlic and grated cucumber into a bowl with the plain yoghurt, adding 1 tbsp of olive oil. Mix well.

3 Season to taste and garnish with mint.
