Swapping normal bread for pitas, tuna, apple and cheddar are combined with mayo for a filling with a difference. Try them - and then you can have a go at experimenting with your own fillings.
- 2 x 190g cans of tuna
- 4 dollops of Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise
- 115g of celery
- 1/4 apple
- 25g dried cranberries
- 25g walnuts
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 1 red onion (optional)
- 2 whole wheat or plain pita breads
Method1 Combine all the ingredients together (except from the pita breads) in a medium bowl.
2 Cut the pita breads in half and evenly stuff them with the tuna mixture.
3 Serve with a lettuce salad for a tasty lunch.
