Emmerdale, ITV, 7pm

Rakesh is backed into a corner by Chrissie, who promises to pay for the Mill development if he ensures Andy is convicted of Lawrence's shooting. Lawrence is worried the plan will fail, but Chrissie is determined and her cold attitude worries him.

At court, Rakesh advises Andy to plead guilty, but the lawyer's battling with his own guilt. As Andy takes to the stand and makes his plea, what will he say?

When Andy's later led out of court, he tells Rakesh he can't go to prison because Chrissie will crumble without him. Can Rakesh keep up the lies or will he tell Andy what's really going on?

Joanne is delighted when Joe invites her to The Dog, thinking she's definitely got her man, but she's heartbroken to discover she's actually been invited to Joe and Mercedes' engagement party.

Confiding in James he comes up with a bet: he's going to split John Paul and Scott up before she can spilt Joe and Mercy up. Will Joanne take on the challenge?
