24 Hours In A&E continues tonight as we follow more patients at St George's Hospital in south west London.

Eleanor is in the department after cutting her thumb at home with a meat cleaver. She needs stitches and is heavily pregnant. She insists the pain can't be worse than childbirth though…

Motorcyclist Michelle is also rushing in after crashing head-first into a lamp post. Scans reveal she's broken bones in her neck, arm, ribs and shoulder and will need emergency surgery. It's touch and go as to whether she'll regain use of her arm and hand.

Meanwhile, 69-year old Timothy has ridden his bicycle into the back of a parked ambulance while training for a 100 mile charity bike ride. He's got plenty of bruises and needs stitches on a cut finger, but will he be back on his bike by the end of the day?
