Acclaimed writer Nick Hornby has adapted Nina Stibbe's bestselling book, Love, Nina, for a five part comedy series starring Helena Bonham Carter.

It's 1982 and 20-year old Nina moves to from Leicester to London full of hopes and dreams.

She becomes a nanny to the two young boys of working single mother, George, who's the editor of a London literary review.

Bright, sharp, playful and funny, Nina finds herself thrown into a sophisticated world with only her no-nonsense attitude to guide her. With George's help, and the attentions of a good-looking boy across the street, Nina finds her eyes opened to all the opportunities that await her.
