Peggy - played by Barbara Windsor - has become an iconic character in the BBC One soap but is set to bow out for good in the coming weeks.
Tonight, bosses at EastEnders released a new short clip, which shows Peggy slowly walking through Albert Square, as if to symbolise her last moments on earth.
Barbara's on-screen sons, Phil and Grant, are shown, along with a still of Stacey Branning as she prepares to tie-the-knot with Martin Fowler.
But Peggy's face turns to horror as she catches a glimpse of Bobby clutching a hockey stick, while walking along the pavement with Jane. The Kills' 'The Last Goodbye' accompanies the footage.
Earlier this week, Barbara spoke about next week's episodes of EastEnders, which will see the lead-up to the death of the Queen Vic landlady.
She said: "It's such a special week and there's lots of surprises. The episodes are something fans won't want to miss. They did me proud. It's a perfect ending for Peggy."
Barbara, 78, joined EastEnders in 1994 and has continued to appear as Peggy Mitchell on-and-off ever since. She made her most recent on-screen return in January this year, before it was announced her character would be killed off.
Hankies at the ready, guys!
