Take Me Out star Paddy McGuinness will front a brand new TV show scheduled to air in autumn.

In a world far away from his hit ITV dating show, Paddy will take a trip down memory lane in Drive of My Life (working title), where he'll reunite a celebrity face with three of their most beloved cars from their youth.

The show, which will air on Travel Channel, will then see Paddy and the well-known face take a nostalgic look back at the some of the stories that shaped their life.

They will track down old friends and reminisce about the quirks of driving each vehicle.

Paddy said: "You'll always remember your first car and the memories that come with it – that sense of adventure! I vividly remember mine, the mark2 Escort and I can't wait to uncover our celebrities' old run arounds and the stories behind each one."

Presenter and comedian Paddy is best know for fronting Take Me Out, but last year viewers saw him swap presenting for acting as he starred in Coronation Street for a few guest episodes as wilderness survival enthusiast Dougie Ryan.
