Jamelia has joined the cast of Doctors as a sexy femme fatale.

The singer and Loose Women panellist, 35, will appear in the BBC serial drama this week.

Jamelia stars as Helena Wales in Doctors, airing 20/4/2016.

She stars as Helena Wales, a shameless kiss and tell queen whose story unfolds during next week's episodes of the medical daytime soap.

Her mischievous character crosses paths with show regular Rob Hollins when the policeman is called to a hotel and finds himself dealing with a drunk and disorderly salesman.

Turns out he's nursing an embarrassing secret - he's just been lured into bed with 'kiss and tell' schemer Helena.

And Rob soon discovers that the man isn't her first victim... Can he bring her to justice?

The mum-of-two's guest appearance is part of a special set of Shakespeare-themed episodes, based on the famous playwright's sonnets.

Jamelia's episode - which airs on Wednesday (20 April) at 1.45pm - is one exploring lust and desire.

In 2013, Jamelia played a singer, Aimee, in an episode of the popular BBC drama Death In Paradise.
