Maddy Hill, who plays Nancy Carter, and Himesh Patel, aka Tamwar Masood, have both filmed their last scenes.
Himesh, who has been on our screens as Tamwar since 2007, told Digital Spy he's leaving to pursue new ventures.
He said: "After almost nine years with Tamwar, it's time to bid him farewell and explore pastures new.
"I'm looking forward to new challenges, perhaps on the stage or behind the camera. Whatever awaits me, I'll miss my family at EastEnders immensely - they've watched me grow from boy to man and supported me every step of the way. It's been a true privilege to work alongside them."
Maddy has played Nancy for just over two years.
She told the website: "It was time for Nancy to take a break from her family and me from EastEnders after having a wonderful time working on the show.
"I was surrounded by a terrific team both on and off camera and I shall miss seeing them all on a daily basis, especially the fabulous Carter family."
Both will bow out on screen in a few weeks' time.
Viewers recently saw Nancy and Tamwar break up after a new business venture tore their previously happy relationship apart.
But could the fact they are leaving at the same time mean they will reunite and leave together? We hope so!
Although it is as yet unknown how they will leave the soap, we're sure there will be plenty of drama and tears as we say goodbye to them.
Meanwhile, Mick and Linda's son Johnny - played by Ted Reilly - is set to return later this month after globe-trotting with his boyfriend.
Executive producer Dominic said recently: "As the family embark on their next big storyline to take them through 2016, it felt wrong not to have Johnny back to play a big part in that - and learn everything that has happened while he has been away."
