Sunday's TV pick: Indian Summers

It's 1935, India is dreaming of independence, but the British are still clinging to power as the second series of epic drama Indian Summers begins.

We pick up the action after a terrorist attack against the British Viceroy of India, which puts Aafrin in the frame.

As he struggles to keep his secret life as a nationalist spy from being exposed, Aafrin also discovers Alice has married Englishman Charlie Havistock. Can the two lovers keep away from each other?

Meanwhile, as the Viceroy fights for his life, Cynthia has her eyes on the prize and urges Ralph to make a play for the top job. Will Ralph's American wife Madeleine put a spanner in the works of Cynthia's plan?
