The daredevil presenter is travelling to some of the hottest, coldest, wettest, and deepest places on earth to discover how animals live in hostile environments in Davina McCall: Life at the Extreme.

By living alongside local tribes, scientists, and the animals themselves, Davina will test the limits of her own endurance as she gives viewers an insight into how extreme, extreme can be.

Life at the Extreme, Davina McCall, Mon 29 Feb

Her journey begins in Namibia, one of the hottest countries of the world, where temperatures can reach 50 degrees and years can pass without any rain. Here she comes face to face with one of the world's most iconic predators: the cheetah.

They might be one of the fastest animals on the planet, but if a cheetah doesn't catch its prey within the first 300 metres, it'll give up as they are just not designed to keep running in such heat. Davina faces a race with a cheetah to see how a human copes in the heat in comparison, and then camps out in the wild all night.

How will she cope when a lion approaches their camp?
