How to Be Single characters aren't "drawn on gender lines", says Jake Lacy
Damon and Jake star in the chick-flick about a newly-single paralegal navigating her way through New York and learning the rules of single life under the guidance of her co-worker.
Watch their video interview below:
Jake, who plays Ken in the movie, says: "This is a female-driven story... but each of the characters' stories aren't drawn on gender lines like 'guys are just out there trying to get laid' and 'women are just trying to lock them down.'"
Jake says the film sees guys trying to figure out the dating game just as much as women.
Meanwhile, Damon, who plays David in the movie, says How to Be Single is a "cool example of making yourself happy before you bring somebody else into your life".
How to Be Single - starring Dakota Johnson, Rebel Wilson and Leslie Mann - is in UK cinemas from 19th February
