Well, executive producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins has teased that it will be "epic".
We'll see scenes of Peggy's exit in the late spring as the iconic character will bow out of Walford forever after it was revealed she's suffering from terminal cancer.
Speaking on The One Show this week, Dominic explained: "We haven't filmed [it] yet. The scripts are coming in, we've got Sarah Phelps [who] has come back to the show. She wrote The Casual Vacancy; she's coming back to write Barbara Windsor's last episode.
"It's gonna be epic. It's got to be epic! Everyone's got such high expectations for it."
As a result of Peggy's exit, soap bosses announced the news (that we were ALL waiting for) that Ross Kemp would briefly reprise his role as Peggy's son Grant Mitchell.
Talking about Ross' return, Dominic said: "'I think [with] Barbara leaving, he had no choice. I've had a lot of dinners with him trying to woo him to get him to come back, but he's so busy. And then finally, the stars have aligned – everyone at work's very excited about it!"
It's also thought that Sam Mitchell will make a return for Peggy's final scenes too, with Danniella Westbrook expected to reprise the role.
