Going cold turkey from sugar can be seriously tough and Sugar Free Farm puts this to the test with six famous faces.
A group of celebrities are tasked with living entirely without sugar for two weeks where they have to turn their backs on the modern food industry and instead live and work on a country farm in return for their share of healthy, wholesome food.
But breaking their addiction to sugar will push their bodies to the limits, and they all struggle to come to terms with the harsh realities of farm life.
Essex star Arg undergoes the experiment alongside dancer and former Brookside actress Jennifer Ellison, musical theatre star Jane McDonald, former Coronation Street actress Tupele Dorgu, comedian Rory McGrath, and quiz mastermind and The Chase star Mark Labbett.
Mum-of-three Jennifer says: "I've really neglected myself, I don't look after myself at all. Throughout the day I'm constantly grabbing a chocolate bar or a can of fizzy drink, hence why I'm so fat."
Meanwhile, Arg adds: "This isn't a diet we're used to so it's going to be tough."
Viewers will see the group living in a farm worker's cottage on Laverstoke Park Farm, which is set deep in the Hampshire countryside, and over the course of two weeks, the celebrities' roles will be split and rotated.
Four of them will be working on the farm during the day while the remaining two will have to prepare and cook sugar-free meals.
The celebs will be kept on the wagon by nutritionist Angelique Panagos. Fruit and alcohol is on the forbidden list for these celebs as they have to get stuck into life on the farm, where they are tasked with milking water buffalos, rounding up pigs and poultry and fertilising crops.
Sugar Free Farm - 26 January at 8pm on ITV.
