Check out Ella's tips below:

Christmas cards: We all receive those Christmas cards and one option is to line them up on the mantelpiece. Or a unique way of decorating is to stick the cards onto a long piece of ribbon and then hang them up in the hallway or on walls around the home.

The table: The table is a key statement at Christmas time. If you purchase a beautiful table runner that will go at the centre of the table, this can form the basis of a beautifully decorated table. A tip is to go for either a cream, red or navy blue colour which will add a Christmas feel but can also be used all year round.

Christmas decorations: Think more art deco with Christmas; it's all about the individual beautiful decorations that can be added to any environment. Too much of one type of decoration can be overpowering. Christmas markets or antique shows are great to purchase those decorations you can keep year on year.

Flowers: I love flowers all year round but especially at Christmas. Flowers can be the perfect decoration on a Christmas table. If you have a long vase, you can add a flower bouquet to the middle of your table (on your table runner) and then add candleholders on either side – adding a romantic touch too!

Cushions: When we have the family round at Christmas, being comfortable is key! We like to have that snuggle and be in our pyjamas with hot chocolate! Cushions not only give us that comfortable feeling but can also add a splash of colour. Choosing large soft pillows of two or three colours will add vibrancy.
