Christmas Day in Albert Square is set to be an explosive one as the Beales and the Mitchells gather to have lunch all together.

Ian is determined it'll be the perfect Christmas for Kathy and Jane, and surprises Jane with her present: a new car. But with Jane panicking over Sharon's plans to go the police about Bobby, things soon take a turn.

Ian pleads with Sharon not to say anything, and as they all sit down for dinner, emotions are running high. With two families soon at each other's throats and tensions spilling over, things between Dennis and Bobby are also coming to a head. As things take a terrifying turn, a horrifying car crash leads to devastation. Will everyone survive?

After overhearing a tender moment between Amy and Robert, Tracy decides he's the guy for her and awaits his proposal.

In the Rovers later, Robert pulls out the engagement ring and an excited Tracy goes to take it, but before she can he demands to know why she's told Rob she wants to spend the rest of her life with him.

Birthday girl Belle is unable to hide her hatred for Joanie as the Dingles gather for their Christmas dinner. Despite being given a generous gift by her parents, Belle glowers and Zak grows suspicious of his daughter's behaviour.
