The Apprentice candidate Scott Saunders has reportedly walked out of the show.

The senior manager, 27, is said to have left the BBC1 series in turmoil after storming out of the boardroom.

Reports say Lord Alan Sugar allegedly 'pushed him too far'.

According to the Sun On Sunday, Scott saw red when Lord Sugar described him as "useless" and "the worst he'd seen on the show".

A friend of Herts-born Scott told the newspaper: "Scott took a battering from Lord Sugar and his aides. He said they went for him like a pack of vultures.

"Lord Sugar was absolutely ruthless. He tore apart everything that Scott had done from start to finish and called him a waste of space."

The source then revealed how Scott finally snapped under the barrage of criticism.

Lord Sugar, equally angry to be left short, is said to have responded: "Good. You're doing me a massive favour. I didn't want you anyway."

If the story is true, he is the first contestant to ever quit the show in a fit of rage.

The first series of the BBC show saw Adele Lock leave the process after both her sister-in-law and gran died during filming.

Katie Hopkins also quit in series three over childcare issues. And Raleigh Addington pulled out of series six after his soldier brother was badly injured in Afghanistan.

Selina Waterman-Smith took to Twitter this weekend to blast the TV show.

The former contestant is still on-screen but has told fans she's no longer part of the show after breaking her contract.

She tweeted: "I see the show are releasing more rubbish again today to discredit their candidates. Is nothing sacred? Bringing my deceased parents up?"

She also warned: "Okay, I'm prepared to do a tell-all interview to any papers about the dreadful producers and what happens. Get in touch ASAP! #screwyouguys."

Looks like Lord Alan Sugar isn't having a good week!
