The Apprentice star Lord Alan Sugar is set to star in a special Star Wars sketch for BBC Children In Need.

An exclusive Star Wars-inspired sketch will be broadcast on appeal night and there will be a star-studded line-up on hand too.

Lord Sugar to star in special Star Wars sketch for Children In Need - 28 October 2015.

Joining forces with Lucasfilm and Disney, Warwick Davis, Lord Sugar and fictional Top Gear character The Stig will be bursting onto our screens in the one-off special.

In the sketch, R2-D2 and C-3PO will be joined by Warwick as they attempt to find a worthy winner to help trigger the first BBC Children in Need totaliser of the night.

It's a very important task, and Warwick is determined not to be side-tracked by the many famous friends in his path who are vying for this coveted role.

This Star Wars sketch is the first of many treats planned for the annual appeal night.

Already confirmed slots include a Strictly Come Dancing special with the cast of Call the Midwife, as well as music from Ellie Goulding, Years & Years and Selena Gomez, and a special EastEnders showcase.

Tune into the BBC Children in Need Appeal show on Friday 13 November on BBC One from 7.30pm.
