Suffragette tells the story of how women fought for equality and their right to vote.

It's made history as the first film to be shot inside the Houses of Parliament, and with a star-studded line-up including Meryl Streep, Carey Mulligan, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne-Marie Duff and Ben Whishaw, it is not one to miss.

The film tracks the story of the foot soldiers of the early feminist movement as they fought for the right to vote. Maud, played by Carey, is one such foot soldier with the story of her fight for dignity both heartbreaking and inspirational.

We've been given a world exclusive video showing Suffragette in the making behind-the-scenes, as well as input from the cast and production crew as to why some of the leading ladies are just so powerful in their roles.

Carey is praised for her "extraordinary presence on camera", and Anne for her "rawness and authenticity", while the video also explores why "this movement isn't over".
