This latest Gilmore Girls news has got us pretty darn excited. According to reports the teenage comedy series that we couldn't get enough of back in the day is finally getting a revival thanks to Netflix.
Teaming up with the show's original creator Amy Sherman-Palladino, Netflix is said to be planning four 90-minute movies to give The Gilmore Girls the ending it never had.
Yes, yes and yes.
While Netflix is yet to officially confirm the news, a source has told US outlet TV Line that a deal has been closed for the limited series to run.
Negotiations for the original cast to return are apparently getting underway, with our show favourites Lauren Graham (Lorelai Gilmore), Alexis Bledel (Rory Gilmore), Scott Patterson (Luke Danes) and Kelly Bishop (Emily Gilmore) all thought to have signed up.
Adding fuel to the fire, when news of a Gilmore Girls return broke yesterday, Lauren cryptically tweeted: "DUDES. I can't confirm this. But I also can't deny this..."

Oh, PLEASE say it's on the way!
After all, who isn't itching to be reunited with Lorelai and Rory?
It was the mum and daughter relationship that stole our hearts and proved it's totally cool to be best friends with your mum. The Gilmore Girls got us through our teenage years, showing us that after every break up, make up, fallout and sticky situation, it's ok to have a little cry, indulge in junk food and get a cuddle off your mumma.
And we're pretty sure it started our long love affair with Chad Michael Murray too. He was just dreamy as Tristan DuGrey, right?
Scuse us as we now go and have a complete Gilmore Girls marathon in time for its return...
