Dot has been released from prison and Charlie welcomes her back to Walford before the family make a fuss and throw her a party. She soon grows frustrated by the fuss and heads to hide in the launderette.

Ian finds her and the pair have a heart-to-heart. Her words about how she should have turned Nick into the police sooner to save him from himself really strike a chord with Ian – what will he do?

Later, Dot asks her friends and family for some peace before sitting with Jim's urn, sharing some emotional words. Her moment is ruined when the police arrive with Cora – will Dot be pleased to see her drunken old friend?

Coronation Street, ITV, 7.30pm & 8.30pm

When Tracy sees Carla drinking in her car, she gets in the passenger seat and begs her to stop torturing herself as the fire was just an awful accident. But not thinking straight, Carla puts the car into gear and speeds off.

After driving erratically, she pulls up next to a quarry and gets out, and starts drinking. She's teetering dangerously near the edge and Tracy's forced to act, shouting out that she was responsible for the fire, not Carla.

Fuming Carla can't believe what she's hearing as Tracy insists it was an accident. With emotions running high, the women fight – will tragedy strike?

Emmerdale, ITV, 7pm

Bob is in court and terrified as he faces being banged up with Ged if he goes down and Harriet doesn't change her statement.

Carly arrives and sees Brenda in tears so assumes the worse and tries to sneak out, but Harriet catches her and begs her to go back and give evidence. Her appeal to Carly's conscience seems to work when the girl goes on the witness stand and admits her involvement in Bob's fraud. But will it help Bob get off?

Hollyoaks, C4, 6.30pm

Leela has come up with a plan to avoid telling Ziggy she lied about being pregnant – seduce him to get pregnant.
