Lady Chatterley's Lover, Sun 6 Sep

The risqué novel Lady Chatterley's Lover is brought to life in this new adaptation as part of the BBC's 20th century literature season.

It's the late 1920s and Lady Constance Chatterley (Holliday Grainger) is happily married to dashing aristocrat Sir Clifford (James Norton) until he's severely wounded in the First World War.

Confined to a wheelchair and impotent, Clifford becomes distant and Constance finds comfort with the estate's brooding, lonely and really rather sexy gamekeeper, Oliver Mellors (Richard Madden).

Lady Chatterley finds herself faced with a choice between propriety and love - will society force them apart?
