Rumoured celebrities to enter this year include American model Janice Dickinson, ex-TOWIE star Dan Osborne, Apprentice star James Hill, This Morning presenter Eamonn Holmes, former WWE wrestler Chyna, Lindsay Lohan's mum Dina, Atomic Kitten star Natasha Hamilton... Okay, there are A LOT of rumoured names.
In the meantime, we made our way to the famous Elstree compound to test if those beds were really comfy and whether you can really avoid the cameras while taking a shower.
Answer: The beds are, in fact, pretty comfy. But no, you really can't shower in private. There are cameras EVERYWHERE.
As soon as we entered the house we were greeted by British and American models (to tie in with the UK vs. USA theme), who were keeping the house nice and warm ahead of the new arrivals.
The lounge area features blue sofas and plenty of cushions. We're hoping the new set of housemates keep it clean! In the centre is a really cool circular table which extends when swivelled.
One part of the house features very regal chairs, a silver British bulldog statue and wooden Union Jack-themed tables. We were also quite in awe of the perspex glass alongside the stairs revealing a tall wall of rock.
The kitchen is amazing - it's basically like an American diner. Retro and vintage signs including car registration numbers adorn the dining area. The chairs are red and cream, which coordinates with the red bowls, plates and cutlery.
Having been in the house at least three times before, the bedroom looks more spacious compared to previous years and the dressing room area is so plush. It's any girls' dream.
Hair straighteners, dryers, mirrors and lights (good lighting is crucial for applying make-up, you know!) will probably make it a popular area for the girls to gossip and get preened to perfection. Boys will be welcome too, of course.
The storage areas are pretty snazzy with glittered pull-out draws and full length mirrors because, you know, you have to look the part in the house, right?!
The bathroom is all sorts of amazing, and we really like the telephone box design on the shower door to give housemates that little bit of privacy. The large bath with a backdrop of the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben is another great feature.
After spending some three hours in the house, we finally realised why housemates always strip off - it really IS hot in there! The general lighting and cameras at every corner mean you're always feeling the heat, quite literally.
It's quite a contrast to the Diary Room, which has a nice cool breeze as soon as you walk in. The chair is so much comfier this year and you can have a good stretch on it too! And the little camera that you speak to is oh-so-tiny! We love the decoration of the room with the large eye design and the actual chair taking the shape of an eye too. Clever work, guys!
The garden is so peaceful, vibrant and inviting. The bench area has a nice little backdrop of a castle, trees and red and white roses, and the pool has an amazing miniature Statue of Liberty sculpture in the centre. We definitely fell in love with it!
Big Brother host Emma Willis and Bit On The Side host Rylan Clark popped in for a little snoop around the house too. They loved it, obviously. They were joined by legendary Big Brother housemate Nikki Grahame, who was chuffed to be back in the house.
Rylan tells us of this year's line-up: "If Perez was in this house, I think he'd be scared. There's definitely a couple of Perez's."
Well, that's very interesting! Controversial US blogger Perez Hilton turned the last series - which has been branded the best CBB ever - into the Perez Show thanks to his ongoing spat with Katie Hopkins.
We won't only see controversial stars, as Rylan predicts celebs will be baring all!
"I think it's safe to say we will see quite a bit of flesh this series," Rylan tells us. "In fact, maybe a lot of flesh. They are the best housemates because the second they walk in they treat it like their own house."
Seeing as we have to wait till the official line-up is confirmed, who would Rylan's dream housemates be? "Eamonn would be my dream Brit," he says. "And my dream American? F**k it, put Obama in!"
On that note, we can't wait for the new series to start!
