On Monday night's show (17 August). viewers watched as Cindy and Liam Butcher (played by James Forde) left Walford behind to live a new life in Germany.
James' exit had previously been announced, but there was no prior announcement that Mimi would be leaving the BBC One soap, with producers deciding to keep Cindy's exit under wraps.
Executive producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins tweeted after the show: "Goodbye to our brilliant @mimikeene3 and @JamesForde96 - go take the world by storm."
Danny Dyer also tweeted the talented young stars, saying: "Sending some love to @JamesForde96 and @mimikeene3 Blinding little actors. Embrace the future. It'll be a beautiful illustrious thing."
In last night's episode, Cindy and Liam bid farewell to Albert Square after Ian Beale requested they leave to stop the truth about his daughter Lucy's murder really coming out.
It was in fact Lucy's younger brother Bobby who killed her, but Ian and Jane have been trying to keep it a secret.
But, before leaving for good, Cindy left one last parting message. She recorded a video message to young Bobby revealing that he is in fact Lucy's murderer and not Max Branning like everyone thinks.
Only the video recording was seen by Sharon Mitchell, so now the secret is really out!
