Yes, really! Probably one of our favourite sitcoms of all time - that made a star out of Will and catapulted the Carlton Dance to fame in its own right - could be getting the modern day makeover.
There's been a revival craze as of late, and it looks like Fresh Prince is following suit.
According to TV Line, Will is leading the charge as producer with his production company, Overbrook Entertainment.
It is said to be "in the very early stage" of development, but it's thought the reboot will put a new spin on the sitcom with a brand new cast while maintaining the spirit of Fresh Prince.
Naturally, the news received mixed reactions from fans...
On the one hand, we are seriously missing a show like this. We mean, has there ever really been a sitcom like Fresh Prince since it came off air? Laughter, emotion and just natural on-screen comedy made Will, the Banks' and their plush Bel Air mansion a joy to watch week in, week out.
But on the other hand, sometimes it's best not to ruin a good thing. Can this show really be replaced? And even though it's not a remake as such, can it do Fresh Prince any justice? Besides, the reruns (which still air to this day) give us our Fresh Prince fix on a weekly basis!
The original Fresh Prince of Bel-Air series, which ran from 1990 to 1996, followed Will as he moved from West Philadelphia to Los Angeles to stay with the Banks family.
The groundbreaking comedy starred the late James Avery, who played Uncle Phil. It also starred Alfonso Ribeiro, Tatyana Ali and Joseph Marcell.
