The popular reality TV show was axed by Sky Living in 2013 but it has now been confirmed that it will be back on our screens in 2016.
Filming will begin in September with a 10-part series scheduled to air next year.
After eight years on air, Sky decided not to renew the show in 2013. It ran for nine series and was last fronted by Elle MacPherson, Dannii Minogue and Tyson Beckford. It is unclear if Dannii, Elle and Tyson will return to the show.
Little has been said about the refreshed format, but it is thought the new series will incorporate social media throughout the competition.
Lifetime director of programming Koulla Anastasi said: "Lifetime is delighted to be working with Thumbs Up to bring the brand new revamped series of Britain's Next Top Model to viewers next year, through this exclusive UK deal.
"It is the perfect addition to our non-scripted slate, which includes Dance Mums, a second series of Dance Mums UK, Little Women and Bring It."
Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model (formally known as Britain's Next Top Model) was first broadcast in 2005 following the success of America's Next Top Model.
