Each episode will follow the fun, flirtatious and sometimes outrageous lives of Ibiza holiday reps as they revel in party paradise.

As well as following the highs and lows of Brits on holiday, viewers will be offered an intimate insight into the experiences of workers and holidaymakers.

Entertainment commissioner Amanda Stavri, said: "The Weekender format always delivers plenty of laughter and drama, as we follow the antics of young holidaymakers let loose abroad. I'm delighted we're returning to Ibiza for another summer of fun."

The Weekender brand has already spanned four successful series of the ITV2 show. Series one to three, titled The Magaluf Weekender, was filmed in Magaluf, Majorca. Filming was relocated to Ibiza for the fourth series.

The last series saw the likes of Imogen Townley, Sophie Newton, Deano Bailey and Rachael Rhodes as reps with outrageous nights out and dramas happening around the clock.

Ibiza Weekender is co-produced by Twofour and GroupM Entertainment. Casting for the new series, which will air in 2016, is now underway.
