The relay invention test is first up seeing them split into two teams. Each team must create a main course and a pudding between them using chicken for the main, pears for the pud and a range of other fruit, veg, herbs and spices.
Each team member has 30 minutes to make their contribution, but they're not allowed to communicate with the other, so they have to work out what the dishes are meant to be from the clues left behind then carry on alone. Sounds complicated to us!
Next they remain in their pairs and head to Legoland in Windsor to make lunch for over 100 members of staff, before heading back to the MasterChef headquarters to cook a faultless two course meal to impress John Torode and Gregg Wallace as well as former champs Sophie Thompson, Emma Kennedy, and previous finalist Wayne Sleep.
