"Danielle is a fantastic actress and I genuinely look forward to seeing her shine in future roles away from the Square."

Before landing her dream role in the soap, Danielle appeared in TV series Jamie's Dream School, in which Jamie Olivier attempted to persuade 20 young people to give education a second chance.

In the show, we were told how she had only got one GCSE due to an illness which forced her to miss lots of school.

EastEnders continues on Monday (15 June) at 8pm on BBC1.
