The celebrity version of the popular Channel 5 reality show will air later this summer, and producers are reportedly planning a "transatlantic war" with a house "full of fiery characters".
The move comes after the last series was a huge ratings hit following continuous clashes between Perez Hilton and Katie Hopkins, and the late arrival of Katie Price, not to mention two housemates being removed and one quitting.
But apparently, it's the impact that controversial US blogger Perez had on the house that producers are hoping to recreate.
An insider told The Sun: "They hope that by pitching Brits against Americans they will capitalise on our cultural differences and fireworks will ensue."
Perez finished the last series of CBB in sixth place, but he emerged as the most talked-about contestant ever, and he left his stamp on the show, with him and many others dubbing it The Perez Show.
The new CBB series will follow on from the normal Big Brother series featuring members of the public.
Last month, it was revealed that Big Brother had been been renewed for a further three years.
Channel 5 extended its UK rights deal with Endemol Shine UK, which means the channel will continue to broadcast two series of Celebrity Big Brother and one series of Big Brother each year.
