Returning for a second series, GPs: Behind Closed Doors, filmed in a working surgery, lifts the lid on what goes in a doctor's consulting room.

The staff of Putneymead Group Medical Practice in south London have 24,000 patients with problems ranging from sore throats to depression.

In tonight's episode, Dr Ali Hassas sees Janet, a patient with personality disorder. She has not washed for months, her body is covered in fleas, and she has planned out her suicide. Can Dr Hassas talk her through her crisis?

Also, Dr Tim King is treating alcohol dependent Vittoria, whose throat infection is agony. But she's been drinking before she arrives at the surgery and soon the consultation room descends into chaos.
