Mel - real name Melanie Chisholm - has been announced as one of the judges for the TV series, which is being billed as 'the biggest talent show in the world', and she has already begun filming.
Sporty Spice will be joined on the panel by US singer and actor Van Ness Wu, Indonesian singer Anggun and Canadian musician David Foster.
Telling fans about her exciting news on Twitter, Mel gushed: "So excited about my Asian adventure." She then encouraged people to follow her co-stars' accounts.
Asia's Got Talent will air in a staggering 20 countries (that's MILLIONS of viewers) later this year and is, of course, is the brainchild of X Factor and Britain's Got Talent mogul Simon Cowell.
It won't be the first time Mel has appeared in front of the cameras as a judge, although she has never done anything similar on such a vast scale.
In 2011, Mel joined Mel B as her guest judge on X Factor Australia and she appeared as a judge and mentor on the 2012 ITV1 series of Superstar.
