Last night, Frankie revealed that she and husband Wayne are expecting their second baby together. However, she added that severe morning sickness meant she had been advised not take part in the stage version of the show.
In a statement, the Saturdays star - who made the final of Strictly 2014 - said: "Although this is such an incredible time for us as a family, due to health reasons I am sadly unable to go on the Strictly tour as planned."
Former S Club 7 star Rachel Stevens has now been drafted in to replace Frankie. The singer was runner-up in the 2008 series of the BBC One show. She also appeared on the 2009 tour and returned again for the 2014 Christmas special.
Rachel will be partnered with professional dancer Kevin Clifton.
Speaking about her signing, 36-year-old Rachel said: "I'm really happy for Frankie and Wayne - it's great news to start the New Year with!
"I know she's disappointed not to be doing the tour - I was supporting Team Frankie during the show and she was fantastic - but I'm happy to be able to step in for her.
"It's no secret that I loved my time in Strictly and that I'm a big fan of the dances, so I'm excited to be back and to get my dancing shoes on again."
Rachel added: "Today, I'm straight into rehearsals learning the routines and meeting the guys and next week we'll be on tour seeing fans across the country - I can't wait!"
The Strictly Tour kicks off 16 January at The Barclaycard Arena Birmingham before eventually wrapping up at London's O2 Arena on 8 February.
