The Voice UK's Emma Wllis: 'Ex popstars have auditioned for the new series'

Emma Willis has revealed that a "few" former popstars have auditioned for the new series of The Voice UK.

Emma, who will be back presenting the BBC One talent show alongside Marvin Humes in January, will speak about the brand new fourth series on Alan Carr: Chatty Man Christmas Special.

When asked by Alan if "any celebrities will be coming back" for another shot at fame, Emma revealed: "There are a couple of people that you will recognise, definitely... A few actually."

Ooh, we wonder who they are?!

In previous years, ex-poptars who have auditioned in front of the red spinning chairs include Big Reunion and 5th Story star Kavana, 5ive singer Sean Conlon, former Hear'Say's Danny Foster and Cleo Higgins, who was the lead singer of sister act Cleopatra.

Emma and Marvin will present The Voice UK for the second year.

Emma also said that there are plenty of singing hopefuls with famous connections. She added: "There are also a few people escorting people to auditions that you'll recognise, so the friends and family of people auditioning are people you will know."

The Voice UK returns to BBC One on 10 January with coaches Tom Jones,, Ricky Wilson and new judge Rita Ora.

Guests on the two-hour Chatty Man Christmas Special are: Phillip Schofield, Dan Stevens, Sarah Millican, Terry Wogan, Gino DeCampo, Emma Willis, Sam Smith and McBusted. The show airs at 9pm on Channel 4 on 25 December.
