It's Peter's 21st birthday and he's feeling very alone. In the wake of recent revelations, Ian still can't forgive his son and, struggling without his sister, Peter's reluctant when Cindy suggests a celebration in The Albert.
Cindy tries to persuade Ian to come to the party, but he's too stubborn and heads off to choir rehearsal instead. At the bash, Peter just can't take his birthday without Lucy and slips away.
He goes back to the Masoods', but when Mas comes home and catches him taking cocaine, an argument breaks out and Peter storms off. He heads home and bangs on the window, begging Ian to forgive him. Jane tries to stop Peter, but in a moment of temper, Peter hits the window so hard it smashes.
Emmerdale, ITV, 7pm
Belle is determined to carry on as normal as her family discuss who might have damaged her painting. She plugs her headphones in and goes to the woods, where she dials the number for her new school and starts shouting abuse down the phone.
Later, she steals a bottle of vodka and goes on an angry rampage in David's shop, smashing everything up. Lachlan, who's been warned by his mother to stay away, sees what's going on and can't resist snapping everything on his camera.
That evening, as her parents despair, Belle heads out to feed Hamish the pig and at last the reason for her erratic behaviour becomes clear…
Hollyoaks, C4, 6.30pm
Ste is horrified to see his abusive step dad, Terry, with Amy and his kids and is immediately suspicious and worried about what he is doing with them.
Amy insists Terry is just helping them all out and supporting them, but Ste is not convinced.
Can he put the past behind him and forgive and forget – or is he right to be concerned about Terry?
