After months of speculation, it was confirmed this morning that Daniel will reprise his role as 007 for a fourth time in a new instalment named Spectre.
Spectre is the name of an international crime organisation run by iconic Bond villain Ernst Stavro Blofeld.
Daniel be joined in the movie by stars including Andrew Scott, known to many of us as Sherlock villain Moriarty. In Spectre he'll be playing an MI5 agent.
Unfortunately we have to wait until 6 November 2015 to see it!
This movie's villain is called Oberhauser and he'll be played by the amazing Christoph Waltz, who has appeared in movies including Django Unchained and Inglourious Basterds.
Rumours suggest Christoph may be playing villain Blofeld but, as always, everything around the movie is so secretive we'll probably have to wait until next year to find out!
Other actors in the flick include Italian screen siren Monica Bellucci, and French actress Lea Seydoux, who are the latest Bond Girls, Lucia Sciarra and Madeleine Swann respectively.
Ralph Fiennes returns as M, Ben Whishaw is back as Q and the gorgeous Naomie Harris reprises her Miss Moneypenny character.
Filming begins this Monday at Pinewood Studios.
Oh, and Bond's new car is the Aston Martin DB10. How long it will last looking new and shiny in the movie is another question…
The cast and crew - including director Sam Mendes - were presented to media during a press conference held at Pinewood this morning.
