The Brit Awards will return to our screens in February 2015 and there'll be a snazzy new statue presented to the winners.

The annual music ceremony, which will be hosted by popular Geordie duo Ant and Dec, will take place at London's O2 Arena.

Ahead of the highly-anticipated awards bash, British artist Tracey Emin has applied her unique creative vision on the iconic Brits trophy.

The script on the pink statue reads: "Congratulations on your talent on your life. On Everything you Give to Others. Thank You."

Tracey, who has become the fifth British artist to redesign the trophy, said: "You want to do it really well. You don't just want to decorate it, you want to make something that is really Tracey-ish, that is special for the people receiving it."

Brits chairman Max Lousada added: "Tracey's design is characteristically bold, brilliant, colourful and inventive - everything the Brits stands for. We're honoured to work with her and delighted to be able to celebrate the achievements of the Brit Awards winners with such a unique and special trophy."

Tomorrow, the Brits Critics' Choice winner will be announced, with George The Poet, James Bay and Years & Years making the shortlist.

The Brit Awards 2015 with MasterCard will take place on Wednesday 25 February. It will be broadcast on ITV. Ant and Dec will be taking over from James Corden, who hosted the event last year.
