I'm A Celebrity boss promises tougher trials: "Ante has been upped"

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! is set to feature even more unusual and tougher challenges this year according to Bushtucker Trials boss Matt Wilkinson.

Matt confirmed to The Mirror that the new celebrity contestants will face some very different trials this year - and even the traditional eating challenges have been made tougher.

This year's contestants face some terrifying trials

"There are more genitals this year," Matt said. "There are some new delicacies that are all shapes and sizes. That's my cryptic clue."

He added that the contestants will "really have to earn those stars" as "the ante has been upped".

"It's very unusual so people will find that really tough as well. You don't know how people are going to react, you don't know - all 15 of us could walk in and do it in a very different way," Matt added.

New photos were released of the jungle camp this morning, as producers warned that the area is overrun with snakes, spiders, leeches and ticks.

We bet the celebs are quaking in their boots!

This year's camp is already overrun with critters

The new series of I'm a Celebrity kicks off on Sunday night (16 November), with ten new celebrities entering the jungle.

They will immediately be split into two groups, with viewers voting on which group they want to send to jungle jail.
