24 Hours in A&E returns for a new series and this time we're heading to St George's Hospital, London, to see the staff save lives.

The trauma team have a hell of job on their hands when 29-year old Kerry is brought in after a horrific motorbike accident. She arrives by air ambulance from Essex after completely losing control of her bike and severing her right leg below the knee.

The seriousness of her injuries mean specialists from seven different departments have been called in to treat her. But they need to stablise her before they can see if it's possible to reattach her leg.

Meanwhile, 11-year old Luke comes in after suffering a prolonged epileptic seizure, and 19-year old Tina has a sewing needle stuck in her foot.
