Gavin & Stacey's Pam and Mick - played by Alison Steadman and Larry Lamb in the show - have reunited. Well, they've posed together for a selfie!

This is possibly the most exciting thing we've seen in ages!

The pair - who played Gav's mum and dad in the BBC Three comedy - are starring in a Gareth Malone's celebrity choir for Children in Need and were recording together yesterday when Larry snapped a picture.

Sharing it on Twitter, he captioned the photo: "Ali and me ready to sing for our supper & Children In Need." Aww! SO cute!

Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood, Great British Bake Off host Mel Giedroyc, comedian Jo Brand and former footballer Fabrice Muamba are among those singing a cover of Avicii's 'Wake Me Up' for the charity, with their rehearsals being captured in a two-part BBC One documentary.

Gareth has described comic Jo as being the "class clown", presenter John Craven as "very, very nervous" about singing and Fabrice Muamba as "quite sensitive".

Speaking to Radio Times about former Gavin And Stacey actor Larry, Gareth said: "He's… a bit of a crooner. I've had to ask him to tone it down. Unless you're doing a solo, you don't want to stick out too much."

We can totally see Larry loving the limelight!

Actress Linda Robson, EastEnders actor Nitin Ginatra, Blue Peter's Radzi Chinyanganya, Margaret "The Machine" Alphonsi join the choir and the line-up is completed by Radio 1 DJ, Alice Levine.

Larry has also tweeted another couple of snaps of the celeb-tastic choir, including one with the caption: "First ever meeting of (almost) all the choir."

Gareth added to Radio Times: "There have been moments of banging my head against the wall. I would hate to be mean because they've all worked so hard. Yes, if I were auditioning, most of them would not be the first choice for any choirmaster – but that's the point."

Athough they may not sound professional, we're pretty sure people will flock to buy the record in droves.

The choir will come together for an exclusive television performance on the BBC Children in Need Appeal show, on Friday 14 November.

Prior to that, a two-part Gareth Malone's All Star Choir will be broadcast in the build up to the BBC Children in Need Appeal Night.

Let the sing song commence. We can't wait to hear them in action!
