The six-piece band revealed in a live stream with fans last night that the self-titled album McBusted will be released on 1 December. Perfect timing for Christmas!
All members have helped write the new songs and the band has also had a helping hand from Blink 182's Mark Hoppus, whose vocals feature on one of the tracks.
Speaking of Mark, Tom Fletcher said: "He'd been such a huge influence on our songwriting that to finally get in a room with him was so fun, if slightly surreal."
The guys switched down their usual energy levels to record ballad 'Beautiful Girls Are The Loneliest', while many of the songs also give a personal yet humorous insight into who McBusted really are.
One song, 'What happened to your band' - a track written by James Bourne - reminisces the aftermath of Busted's split in 2005.
McBusted's album announcement follows the group's successful recent tour, which saw them play to 350,000 fans.
But despite the reaction from followers, McBusted didn't want to rush their new music and waited until the songs were good enough to meet their "high expectations".
We can't wait to see if they've produced the next 'Year 3000' or 'Five colours in her hair'!
