The Apprentice candidate Solomon Akhtar describes himself as incredibly enthusiastic - although he knows not everyone loves that level of enthusiasm.

At just 22 years old, the technology entrepreneur from London will be hoping to impress Lord Alan Sugar, Nick Hewer and Karren Brady, and walk away with the £250,000 investment on offer.

Solomon works at a creative agency alongside running his own social media company. Other business interests include a retail store "lock-in" for students and group yacht trips around Croatia.

He says he hopes he stands a good chance of winning, describing himself as "enthusiastic, energetic and personable". His biggest passions are technology and travel.

Solomon says: "I am from the 'ideas generation'; because of my age I understand technology and how to turn it into a business."

The Apprentice, 9pm, BBC1, Tuesday 14 October.
