The Apprentice's Linsday Booth reckons the other candidates will underestimate how feisty she is and just how determined she is to win.

The 29-year-old from Leicester is among the twenty men and women fighting for the chance to impress Lord Alan Sugar in the new series of the BBC One show in the hopes of winning a £250,000 investment.

Lindsay is the founder and owner of a swimming academy in Leicester. She's been a swimming instructor for fourteen years and has built her business up from teaching just one young child to hundreds at different local pools.

The businesswoman - who describes herself as compassionate and ambitious - wants to develop her academy and says teaching children to swim is her passion as it's a skill that could one day save their lives.

Lindsay says: "The other candidates will underestimate how feisty I am and how I will fight and prove that I can get to the end."

The Apprentice, 9pm, BBC1, Tuesday 14 October.
