Gregg and his professional dance partner Aliona Vilani ended up in the bottom two alongside Mrs Brown's Boys star Jennifer Gibney and professional partner Tristan MacManus. Both couples ended up in the dance off.
While Jennifer and Tristan did their Waltz to 'Natural Woman' by Aretha Franklin, Gregg and Aliona performed their Charleston to 'Hey Good Looking' by Ray Charles.
In the end, it was Jennifer's Waltz that impressed the judges the most, with all of them voting unanimously to save her.
With Craig Revel Horwood, Darcey Bussell and Bruno Tonioli all choosing Jennifer, head judge Len Goodman said: "I would have agreed with my colleagues, it would have been unanimous."
Reflecting back on the results Gregg said: "I have to say it is the most terrifying thing I have ever, ever done. What I really liked most of all was practice, coming in here [the studio] really scared me. If I come back again, can you just watch me while I practice?!"
Gregg also told Aliona: "Thank you so much for your patience - you are a saint!"
Strictly Come Dancing continues next week with a movie-themed show.
Tune in on Saturday 11 October at 6.30pm on BBC One. The results show will air on Sunday 12 October at 7.20pm on BBC One.
