James Corden is rumoured to have landed a pretty AMAZING new job in America which could propel him to household name Stateside!

The British actor and comedian has been tipped to replace Craig Ferguson as the host of late night chat show The Late Late Show.

If this is true, wow, congrats to James!

The Late Late Show airs weeknights at 12.35am on the CBS network in the States immediately following the mammoth The Late Show With David Letterman, and pulls in some pretty hefty celebrity names as guests.

It's currently hosted by Scotsman Craig Ferguson, who announced earlier this year he'd be leaving the show in December when his contract expires. He's been there for almost ten years.

So far neither James nor CBS have commented, but we'll keep our fingers crossed that this is true - another Brit making massive waves in Hollywood!
