Operatic group Collabro announced the news this morning (13 June), saying it was a "dream come true".
The five-piece - consisting of Jamie Lambert, Matt Pagan, Thomas Redgrave, Michael Auger and Richard Hadfield - are now hard at work in the studio recording their debut album, which is due for release on 14 July.
Syco tweeted this morning: "@CollabroGlobal sign to Syco. BGT winners begin work on debut album to be released on July 14th #CollabroSyco."
Speaking of the deal, Simon told The Sun: "Collabro were worthy winners of Britain's Got Talent. I am delighted to welcome them to Syco and am looking forward to them starting work on their debut album."
Their fans - better known as 'Collaborators' - seem to be extremely pleased to learn of the news too. One tweeted today: "So happy about this news, massive congratulations to @CollabroGlobal can't wait to hear the album, excited!"
Another said: "Super, fantastic, great news! No one deserves it more. Can't wait for your first musical masterpiece to come out!"
Collabro stormed to victory on the BGT final last weekend (7 June). They beat popular duo Bars and Melody, who came in third place, and opera singer Lucy Kay. who was runner-up.
Collabro won £250,000 and a slot at the Royal Variety Performance later this year.
